I’ve always been inspired by the art around me - my mom’s paintings, western movies, cherry blossoms on the first day of school, train rides to the beach, a raging nightclub full of fiery spirits, the sunrise afterwards, laughter, heartbreak, growth. Words were never my forte. So naturally, I leaned on pictures to understand, process and share these stories.
